Kids love playing it! Loads of adventures to be had.
Fun game if you like the Telltale style of games (Point and click, making decisions based on dialogue). Very faithful to the Minecraft experience, which to me made it tons of fun!
Telltale Game's second adventure set in Mojang's block world concludes in Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 8 and is suitably called ‘A Journey's End?'. Jessie and his/her team remain trapped having to travel from realm-to-realm in search of home, however after rescuing and befriending someone who may...
A good mix of action and story - Good use of branching decisions; Not enough to replay - Sad it's over :
Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 6: A Portal to Mystery kicks off with the band of heroes landing in a mysterious world with not the slightest clue as to what they should be doing. Coincidently, there's a floating book that they start reading; turns out they've been invited to a mansion just down the...
We have come quite a distance in our journey with Jesse and crew, from surviving and defeating the Wither Storm in Jesse's homeworld, to saving the people of the city built in the clouds, solving the
Exciting QTE events; Nice tie up with all the episodes
Pretty unsatisfactory ending to the series; Very short; Feels rushed
The final three episodes of 'Story Mode' are kind of a sitcom, with self-contained storylines that neatly fold into each episode, set within a thin veneer of overarching narrative.
Minecraft: Story Mode is rated E-10 with ESRB descriptors of Fantasy Violence and Mild Language. You can attack monsters with swords and other weapons, but they just disappear when defeated.
There are some spoilers below. Be warned! Drama hasn't been a hallmark of Minecraft Story Mode, with the series' amiable characters and goofy scenarios putting the game squarely in the light entertainment category thus far. But all that changes in this latest episode, A Block and a Hard Place.
Wraps up the "main" quest in a satisfying way; Some nice emotional moments between characters; Fun action sequences
Some character's fates feel a little tacky
Jesse and friends trip underground to find a lost hero is not the most pleasant one, and not just because of the endermen.
