Mighty No. 9

Frustrating to play and a pale imitation of Mega Man, Mighty No. 9 is unlikely to command the same reverence as its older cousin.

Decent arcade blasting; Comprehensive amount of modes; Stilton strength voiceovers

Iffy platforming; Dull bosses; Stilton strength voiceovers (again

A Mighty Dud

For something that was expected highly by fans of Mega Man or 2D action platformers, this is a massive let-down. A bland (and sometimes downright ugly) 3D art style, as opposed to the early 2D bright style in the concept art, litters the levels and character designs.

Mighty No. 9 review

A tribute to and evolution of Keiji Infaune's Mega Man, Mighty No. 9's moments of brilliance are tempered by its preposterous challenge.

Rating the game a 10 to balance out the 0's. In reality this game is probably a 7/10, but what do you expect from a $20 game It's hard, it's fun, it's challenging and it looks pretty good.

Mighty No.9 (Xbox One) Review

I understand that my header there sounds extreme or dramatic but it is not without just cause. First, I want to establish a little history of myself I have been an avid Mega Man fan since the original dropped in 1987.

Xbox One Review: Mighty No. 9

For those out of the loop, Mighty No. 9 is the latest game from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune which was funded by Kickstarter, only to be delayed a number of times before finally coming out.

While Kenji Infaune may be known as the creator of Mega Man , it's disappointing to think that many may remember him by the letdowns of Mighty No. 9 . What was supposed to be a spiritual success to Mega Man instead ended up as a simply average platformer with mechanics that never fully hook you.

What an absolute joke and disgrace to Megaman.

This game is utter trash, as anyone who has followed the development cycle knows. Gameplay is bottom of the barrel, graphical fidelity and voice acting is even worse.

Game Review: Dreamfall Chapters

Dreamfall Chapters is the third instalment in the Longest Journey franchise. A series with a deep lore that began life as a point and click adventure back in 1999 with The Longest Journey.

Great story; Interesting characters; Choices add replayability

Poor opening sections; Some weak voice acting; No waypointing; Animations can be a bit bland
