Guardians of Middle-earth dispels the difficulty of online battle arenas (review)

Far over the Misty Mountains cold Two teams of five fight for control It's a MOBA, just like Dota But less complex, with no shop or gold "What's a MOBA?" You might just ask It's an action-RPG with a simple task You have three lanes and skills to train Heroes and villains make up the cast You pick...

MOBA made easy The multiplayer online battle arena has never been the most welcoming of genres; Games like Defense of the Ancients and League of Legends are famous for their tough, often mean communities.

Lagolas (Get it? I combined lag and Legolas into one word; Funny, right?) Sadly, lag has been an issue with my time with Guardians, though the problem seems to improve each day; It was virtually unplayable on Dec; 5, the game's release day on the 360.

Nostalgia, it's a thing

Nostalgia, it's a thing When there was still an arcade near my house, Midway games were the ones I often found myself pumping the most quarters into. You are logged out. Login | Sign up There's also not a whole lot of options available for gameplay, either.

Midway Arcade Origins review (PS3)

I grew up playing Marble Madness on the NES, with a controller. The d-pad turned out to be the perfect control mechanism for that game, and that's almost entirely due to the excellent work Rare did with the port. I didn't realize at the time just how much modification must have been necessary.

Midway Arcade Origins

So, do we put a controller in front of the LED to call "next" now?  From Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Backbone Entertainment comes a classic arcade bonanza from the "golden era" of the coin-op craze.  Though many of the additions "show their age," some are still a blast to play.

Midway Arcade Origins PS3 Review

For an incredibly low purchase price, less than I used to spend at the arcade on a good weekend, Midway and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have compiled dozens of the most popular coin-operated games of decades past to both introduce them to a new generation and play off nostalgia of a...

Good collection almost great in my opinion

I love these compilations. I got it for Pit Fighter which I really have like since I was a child. I was the digitized fighter before MK. I used to have the genesis version which was the best home console version. I like about half the games.

I had this game on my PS2 and played it faithfully. There are new set ups to getting to the games but the games are still the same. I love old school video games. My favorite on hear is SMASH. All the games are worth playing if your into old school video games. I even introduced my nephews to them.
