The most obvious improvement on the old Xbox is that the new Xbox is less ugly. Physical beauty is nothing to sniff at, and the simplified lines and sleek grilles on the Xbox 360 S are an unambiguous step up.

I'll leave the Xbox part out, because we all know that works fine. The Kinect device is an impressive piece of technology that works as advertised, tracking you and putting you "in the game." Jump and your character jumps.
