Great Keyboard

I've only been using this Microsoft wireless keyboard for a few days, but I like it very much so far. The wireless convenience is perfect for the location i chose, and the keyboard appears to be well made and very well suited to my needs.

Keyboard 850

I purchased this product because Microsoft updated Windows 10 and my former KB would not function. When I returned to my office and plugged the KB into the computer then it recognised the computer, nut that was all. It is frustrating because the layout of the KB appears fine - the product should have a warning on it "numerica keys do not function" I have tried various fixes (allowing the KB its own USB port) - all to not avail. I do not have the time to go back to JB and will have to try another way.

USB is easy to break - Go Bluetooth

Had this for my laptop set up. Left USB dongle in port when putting laptop in bag, minor bend but made connecting a nightmare (had to nudge it into perfect spot). You can't get replacement USB dongles. Nothing against JB, got a bluetooth version instead (as I should have in the first place) and have never looked back.

Great Product

It is very simple to setup, just plug in and you are good to go. On and Off is controlled by the mouse and you also can store the USB plug inside of it.

Not so great

I just bought another brand, so I know I wouldn't but it next time. Unfortunately, I've had various problems with many different brands. I'm still looking for a reliable brand. If had other Microsoft keyboard/mouse sets that were good, and some others not so good.

Good range from dongle, secure communications (encrypted), decent keyboard touch ; Keyboard doesn't need to be switched off; Battery life/usage is fairly good, if you switch the mouse off after use

Mouse doesn't work on certain surfaces (which others do fine with); I had to switch it to another computer where it worked ok; Keyboard and mouse are encrypted keyed to one dongle, if dongle dies or gets lost, others are useless (minor); Bottom back plate of keyboard is WHITE, not black (minor).

Good Product

Good product with a high ratiting quality/price. Good plastic quality, save storage area on the bottom of the mouse for the usb key. Only 1 USB wifi key for both, better for save your usb port.

Almost perfect

This is super easy to connect, just plug in the dongle and keyboard and mouse just worked. LOVE the little storage space for the dongle on the base of the mouse to avoid losing it when switching from home to office. I also appreciated batteries being included in the pack. One negative about the keyboard: no indicators to show whether Caps Lock and Num Lock are on or off. Otherwise, comfy and easy to use. Overall good value for a simple home office setup.
