I always prefered a tablet over a cumbersome laptop, but still needed the full functionality of Windows instead of mobile operating systems. Let me tell you this thing delivered! Hard to tell sometimes that im not using an actual laptop, it performs excellenty for all I need and is built very well. The screen is very sharp and touchscreen is responsive. Still getting the hang of the pen (pen and keyboard are sold separately). The two issues I have are not major: 1) Not many ports, not really a design flaw as it is a tablet and has more than others provide but not near enough to a standard laptop 2) Windows 11 is great to navigate on this...view more

Previously owned Surface Pro 4 until display became faulty. Surface 8 has a fast startup, great display but missing standard USB connection so need to purchase adapters for existing USB and External drives. Also no SD card slot. Easy to setup up and transfer of files. So far no problems.

Im happy with surface pro 8, its quick loving the new OS on it flawless worth the money
