-Extremely fast startup -Runs fast; -Light -Long battery life, especially on low brightness and with power-saving mode on; -Completely silent unless it gets super-hot and actually has to turn on the fans, at which point it is still fairly quiet.

-Gets pretty warm under heavy stress, but it still doesn't take a hit to it's performance; -When connecting to my TV, I have to make sure I restart the tablet first or one of two things happens: either the touchscreen stops working, or it won't recognize the TV as a sound playback device.

So I have had my Surface Pro 4 for about a week now. I was disappointed that it didn't have a partial charge when I took it out of the box (I was having lunch at a restaurant) but once it was charged and working, it seems to work great.

From Gadget of the Year to a gadget you shouldn't go near, for now. The new Surface is great as a laptop and sorely lacking as a tablet.

While there are still a lot of traditional notebooks that Microsoft's tablet/laptop hybrid hasn't yet killed, the Surface Pro 3 changed the landscape of mobile computing. Now, the likes of HP , Lenovo , Dell and even Apple are chasing Microsoft's coattails with their own all-purpose devices.

I bought this version of the Surface Pro 4 (128 i5) at the recommendation of a MIcrosoft store employee. I explained my daily workload (editing photos, while keeping multiple tabs open in chrome and streaming music) and he said that the $ model could handle it with ease.

It's a tough decision to make. Both the iPad Pro and Surface Pro 4 are great tablets, with very little between them. I have chosen this rating because: Overall, the Surface Pro 4 is a great device and the pros definitely outweigh the cons. However, this device still has some issues and there are very little areas where it could be improved.
