Review: Microsoft Surface 4 Pro

With each successive Surface, Microsoft has won over new users to its innovative device. Naysayers who questioned the usability of the odd 3:2 aspect ratio screen now accept that for anything but watching wide-screen media, it's actually a likeably useful format, with its gains in screen height very...

The tablet is pre-loaded with the Windows 10 operating system and it is just 8.4mm thick. Despite this slender design it still manages to fit a USB 3.0 port and a Mini Display port so connectivity isn't an issue – although it would have been nice to have a second USB port.

Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 is an excellent hybrid device, but it's not exactly the inexpensive option. Over at finder.com.au, I've run Microsoft's very nice hybrid device through its paces. So as I usually say about now, go and read it! Source: Finder

Microsoft Surface Pro 4

While the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is the perfected version of the Surface Pro 3, there's still work to do for it to truly replace a laptop. The device is the best tablet in the market today, but the fact that it costs Rs. 89,990 without the TypeCover keyboard make it very tough to recommend.

PixelSense display is amongst the best in the market; Powerful; Surface Pen is almost perfect; Fast and zippy performance

TypeCover keyboard not included in cost; Battery lasts for only 4 hours or less; Expensive

Microsoft for the first time in launched its Surface 2-in-1, the Surface Pro 4 in India earlier this year starting at Rs. 89,990. It has a large 12.3-inch display, is powered by Intel Skylake processor and also comes bundled with Surface Pen. Is the new Surface Pro 4 worth the price?

Good display; New Intel Skylake processor good performance; Ultra portable 2-in-1

Average battery life, Type Cover have to be purchased separately (Rs; 12,490, Priced a bit on the higher side

The first thing that you'll note when you see Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 is that it is, beyond a doubt, cool to look at. Microsoft launched the tablet-hybrid in India in January , just a few months after the launch in the US .

Great design; Sturdy construction; Plenty of power

Great design; Sturdy construction; Plenty of power; High cost; Short battery life; Not fully finger friendly

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 review: An excellent laptop replacement, but expensive

Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 4 last year and it has taken quite a while for it to make it to the Indian shores. Launched officially in India in January 2016, the Surface Pro 4 is Microsoft's fourth generation 2-in-1 device, which, although a tablet with a snap on keyboard, is renowned as a...

T here's something about the Nexus range of devices when it comes to Android (check out our review of the Nexus 6P ). There have always been several alternatives to the Nexus range and many devices have been better specced than the Nexus, but somehow when someone mentions great Android performance,...

Surprisingly Powerful

At first I was weary of only 4gb of ram but this little thing runs VERY smoothly. I have no problem running multiple applications including Gimp, Corel, and 3d design software at the same time.

Definitely a situational device.

So I've owned mine now for 1 year and just a couple of thoughts for perspective buyers. Honestly if you aren't going to use the pen or the device in tablet mode atleast 50% of the time get a laptop.
