Been at uni for 2 years before committing to this laptop and I'm so glad that I have. The surface book is extremely useful and has a real USP that almost every other product lacks; the ability to detach the screen while still having a solid keyboard.

With that annoyance dealt with, we can focus solely on the Surface Laptop's capabilities as a standard Windows 10 laptop and in that regard, it's a very positive outlook. When you look at the landscape of ultraportable laptops, there's a race to be the thinnest on the block, but we're starting to see diminishing returns as a result of that quest. The Surface Laptop stands out with a design that dares to be different, and it pays off.

Only had this laptop a few days but so far I've been impressed by the build quality of the surface laptop. The speed of the processor is incredible for such a light laptop, everything that I've run on it so far has just been instant in response time.
