Screen doesn’t wake up after sleeping. Waste of money. What sort of dock station can’t sleep a screen. Google it, been an issue for ages apparently

My 14 month old Surface Pro display broke a week after starting to use this docking station. Now the fight begins to get my Surface Pro fixed under warranty.

For such an over the top price you would think they would get it right but when the monitor power timeout kicks in the monitor is dropped and you have to disconnect and reconnect the dock for the monitor to work again. How can they stuff up again and charge more for it.

An external hard drive (WD 2tb) is not detected on the USB ports of the docking station. Besides, the Microsoft Surface Dock 2 come with two part however only one part was demonstrated on the website! not Happy with that.

Not recommended. My Surface Pro 7 works fine with the first version of the Microsoft Dock - but this second version will not handle dual monitors connected via USB-C - that completely undermines it's worth - and this isn't a cheap bit of equipment. Very disappointing.

Solid dock set up, with 2 blocks, one for power, the 2nd for all the accessory plug ins. I needed a second adapter with HDMI to fit everything I have so makes it a bit unsightly. Not ideal for travel or hotdesking set ups.
