Along with Windows 8 , Windows RT , and Windows Phone 8 , Microsoft has released a handful of new keyboards, trying to cover the wide range of people who need a physical keyboard regardless of it they're working on desktop or on a tablet.

I've been using Microsoft 's new Sculpt Comfort keyboard for a few days now, and so far it hasn't revolutionized my typing. But that's just what it promises - to change one of the fundamental parts of modern keyboards: the backspace key.

Very good feeling on use, with numeric pad there is no way to attach it to keyboard, but still good, you just need to get use to this. Ergonomic mouse, feels a bit to big, but again, something you can use to it.

Set up and instalation is no brainer. Love the Design, but blutooth range is seriouly flawed. It has a usable distance from usb transceiver of less than 3 ft so putting keyboard on your lap, you will find it actualy only registers about a third of letters typed.If Microsoft improved on transceivers...

No-one could accuse Microsoft's hardware department of failing to support Windows 8 . As well as the much-vaunted Microsoft Surface Windows 8 tablet , Microsoft has launched a plethora of peripherals dedicated to the new OS.

Very happy with comfort of typing - mouse also good. However, return key is very stiff which is a serious impediment to fast typing and annoying - needs to be soft touch

More comfortable to type on than a regular keyboard. The mouse is really good and also comfortable. Would be 5 stars but sometimes the wireless signal drops out and misses one or two letters, even though it's close to the keyboard.

Microsoft has put out quite a few peripherals for Windows 8 over the past few weeks. While the Sculpt Comfort keyboard is not as visually striking as say the Wedge keyboard , for those who desire an ergonomic layout, Microsoft has always been a top competitor in this market.
