Great Mouse

I purchased the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort when I found that my new work laptop does not have an impressive touch pad. Initially I just wanted to go for an inexpensive Bluetooth mouse. A quick search revealed that I could preserve a USB port with the offering from Microsoft.

Love Design but doesent work well

Set up and instalation is no brainer. Love the Design, but blutooth range is seriouly flawed. It has a usable distance from usb transceiver of less than 3 ft so putting keyboard on your lap, you will find it actualy only registers about a third of letters typed. If Microsoft improved on transceivers...

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Desktop review

Microsoft has produced a very competent keyboard and mouse combo that's well made and comfortable to use. If you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome, RSI or similar, then the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Desktop won't be for you, and you'd be better off looking at the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop kit...

Good build quality Comfortable to use Wireless; As we've come to expect from Microsoft's peripherals; both the keyboard and mouse have excellent build quality; and they look good too.

Expensive Not many features Keys don't feel great Large spacebar can cause errors when typing; The keys on the keyboard could do with a tiny bit more travel to make typing on them more satisfying – sometimes you're not quite sure if you've properly hit a key when typing fast.

Butter!

It's smooth as butter. The mouse is contoured for comfort and pleasure!

Looses the Bluetooth connection if it sits idle for more than 5 mins. then I need to either shut down my laptop or go to Bluetooth settings and remove mouse, then do a Bluetooth search for the mouse. A REAL BIG PAIN. I had hoped to come to Microsoft web site nd find some kind of a update.

Bluetooth Mouse

I could not get it to work. I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and a fast computer with plenty of memory. The best I could do was putting the mouse directly beside the computer, which does not work with my configuration. I even bought an ASUS dongle (the same brand as my motherboard).

Slippery mouse wheel makes it almost unusable

- Since the wheel issue drove me mad, I went out and bought another mouse.

Looks nice

- Material of the wheel is so slippery that I have extreme difficulties rotating the wheel; - Swipe feature of the blue side button does not work very well

Great mouse perfect for surface

Bluetooth is perfect for a surface so I can still plug in my external hard drive. Had a short time but I'm very happy. Easy to use, comfortable, and works well!

If it lags, install the "Mouse and Keyboard Center" from microsoft

I fiddle with this thing for an hour, got it connected to bluetooth, then there's a notification at power button to "update and restart" but after restart, the mouse would lag considerably. I would move the mouse and the cursor will take like two seconds to finally move.

As there is only one USB port, even with a multiport, use on the go quickly traps you in a web of wires that all have to be schlepped on the road . By emphasizing bluetooth, you eliminate the wires. The mouse is mid-size and light.
