Takes a bit of time to get used to it. but 200% prefers it now than the standard non ergo keyboard. Definitely gave my wrists the support they need. Helped ease wrist pain. Got 2 of same keyboard - one for home, one for work.

I LOVE IT!!! NEVER EXPERIENCED SO MUCH COMFORT WITH A KEYBOARD. I've just received it. It is beyond comfortable. Totally worth it price. Hopefully it will last long also.
Pros: Nice ergonomic feel. Solid feel. Not flimsy or fragile like some other keyboards I have had. Good amount of programmable short key buttons. Cons: Not a mechanical keyboard so you don't get the spring feedback. (new this before I bought though) Rear clip Broke on me.
I purchased this to help relieve arthritis pain in my hands while gaming and while it takes some getting used to, it does the trick. My pain level is down thanks to the better positioning of my hands and wrists.
There is no more comfortable keyboard to use. It's that simple.
This is one proffessional looking keyboard especially "cut" out for the programmers and the people who type a little too much. The keyboard is has a near pefect egronomic layout making the act of typing very comfortable.
This keyboard seems to keep going up in price, but periodically goes on sale. Wait for a discount and get one. I have 2 and haven't had any problems with the space bar. One con is that I found out that this USB keyboard is not compatible with a PS/2 adapter, which now makes my KVM switch useless.
comfortable and sleek
USB not compatible with PS/2
I've owned 4 of these Microsoft 4000 Ergonomic Keyboards now. I love the keyboard, that's why I bought 4 but they are somewhat problematic (or at least they can be). The first 3 I bought each had the same problem.
I have wide shoulders and for years used standard keyboards that were awkward and uncomfortable to use because I needed to keep my wrists close together to maintain a proper typing position. When I discovered ergo keyboards almost twenty years ago, it was heaven sent.
This is a great keyboard, I write a lot so it is important to me to have comfort while I write. With this keyboard there is no stress or strain on the wrists or fingers at all. I will buy another if anything ever happens to this one.
