As a writer, having a keyboard like this is really a big help. It is desinged to make me feel comfortable during long hours of work. Glad manufacturers have thought of making something like this.

This keyboard was definitely designed around ergonomic ideals. Microsoft has taken a well-tested split "Natural" keyboard design and ergonomically improved it even more for the heavy user in mind.
"Natural" Design; Ergonomic Improvements; Updated; Sleek Style
Wired; Not Bluetooth
Keyboards don't get any better than this -- at least not with currently available technology. The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 is quiet, comfortable, and overall a joy to work with. Highly recommended to anyone interested in a more comfortable computing experience.
Between school and this website, I've been finding myself typing more and more recently. So under the guise of ‘health and safety', I decided it was time to ditch the regular keyboard and spring for an ergonomic one.
Is not the cheapest of keyboards but their again it is not the dearest.Very good value for money and well thougt out and well done Microsoft.
Sound buttons are Excellent; Web & mail search, five extra buttons you can dedicate to what you want, zoom in togle for browsing and pictures; Back & Forward buttons for easier navigation & when working in word all the keys are there and just to cap it off there is a gell wrist rest which is...
The only thing I have found is that the space bar is not as soft touch as the rest of the keys
If ergonomic keyboards are your flavor, this is the cream of the crop. A comfortable padded wrist-rest lays your hands perfectly on keys that are raised, lowered, and sized according to your propensity to strike them.
The space bar is the reason I am returning this. This space bar does not work very well unless you hit it at the very bottom directly in the center. It also does not have a quick repeat because it is so hard to hit.
Comfortable Design; Great Features; Highly Compatible
Noisy; Unreliable Performance
Split keyboard, one of the few still sold. Switches apparently not the best quality, you may get about 18 months of service with a few hours per day usage.
USB; many function keys; lights for several functions
Poor quality switches-i.e; keys quit, not much life even in light use
it is very good well ok at least lets not push it. Note: This Review was made by Play.com customer: Mike1261 on Rakuten's Play.com on the date shown.
A great keyboard to use, buy it fails totally at the first split of water on the keys. The MS Comfort Curve 2000 is less than half the price and "Split-Proof". For such an expensive keyboard, would it be too much to make is split proof
