[...]video looks great but to use higher res you will need a beefy system.I have had a few cams, the only niggle is the connection to laptop screen is not 100% so i've used bluetak so it does not fall off.A usb led light could come in handy, which is not expensive to buy.

Plug it in and Windows will download the right software. auto focus, auto brightness, etc. Everything works great on this camera. Much much better than the average webcam.

I purchased this web cam to use with Skype to communicate with my wife while she was out of town for work based training. I was very happy with the performance of the LifeCam Cinema and found the interface to be very user friendly.

Windows 7 Pro primarily for Skype. Great image quality, good audio pickup.

Easy to use, that is a thing we needed for our live stream. Flexible stand can fit a variety of ways to set the camera. I cannot speak about the audio we are using a different mic set up.

Easy setup, didn't need any instructions. Only problem I'm having is Skype and I am positive it's not a cam problem. When I turn on the cam the colors are great, the image clear and works perfectly. Turning on Yahoo messenger, the video was great.

Should Hollywood make a biopic called The Webcam , it would tell the tale of an unloved little fellow; a cute and plucky device all eager to please and full of promise but somehow ignored and ultimately unloved.
