Not straight forward in setting up through the dovetail website, but once done, the game so far runs perfect in comparison to my former FSX Deluxe boxed version.

this is the most frustrating item I have ever bought from Amazon. Apparently, in an effort to prevent theft, they have designed a system so complicated and suspicious, that it is almost impossible to install.

Thought I was getting a disk with order but only got access to a download.

This is an item you want to avoid. Basically another version of FSX. You will have problems installing 3rd party addons in the Steam Edition. If you have FSX ... keep it.

If you're looking for a realistic flight simulator with the ability to configure it just how you want with 3rd party addons, both free and paid, then look no further. Out of the box, it looks quite pretty... with photorealistic scenery and other enhancements, it can look stunning!

FSX-SE as a product is awesome ! let me share my installation nightmare with this low priced edition - after inserting the DVD, downloading STEAM from the net & authenticating the license, the installation process directly goes to updates & the file size is 10.3 GB , for which i had to pay data...

Delivery was quick and packaging was good. Product arrived sealed and in good condition. However the product is not exactly as described. The product I received was Flight Simulator X - Steam Edition.
