Men of War: Vietnam

The Men of War series has been a boon for fans of tactical combat, with missions that value strategy over brute force. In fact, brute force rarely ever works, so you need to think ahead if you want your squads to survive.

A challenging, and really good, RTT

Men of War: Vietnam is a strongly single-player focused Men of War game that, as the name implies, is set during the Vietnam war. There are two campaigns in this game, one following an American unit, and the other following the exploits of two Russian advisory.

Men of War: Vietnam

, to review. It's very difficult for me (in other words, I'm terrible), but I've also been having a lot of fun. I was impressed with the game when I first previewed it over a year ago at 1C Company's Another Night in Moscow event, so I was pretty excited to finally get some time to play it.

Men of War: Vietnam

I've played some tough games in my time. Super Meat Boy threw down his gauntlet, and I chucked it back into his squidgy face, The ArmA series has marched me into countless battles, but I've always come out the other side scarred but alive.

Men of War: Vietnam Review

If you've never played a Men of War game before, Vietnam is as good a place to start as any. There's an incredible depth to the tactical options available, and single-player scenarios are clever, challenging and varied.

Men of War Vietnam

The men of war series is know to be difficult in the strategy genre and the new installment of the series ''Men of War Vietnam'' is very hard. In MoW Vietnam there is only 2 types of game play. Campaign and multi player. That means no custom battles which you can setup yourself.

Brutally tough and unforgiving, Men of War: Vietnam is a serious test of your patience and your real-time strategy skills.

How much you enjoy Men of War: Vietnam depends on your patience for constant saving and reloading. Just like in the earlier releases in this 1C Company series of real-time squad combat games, the difficulty has been cranked through the roof.

Intricate missions with multiple objectives on huge maps; Lengthy solo campaign; Cooperative play adds replay value

Brutal difficulty demands tiptoeing forward and saving often; Missions are absurdly tilted in favor of the opposition; A few AI issues; Lacks a much-needed tutorial; Connection problems hamper co-op play

Men of War: Vietnam: review

We recommend you play Men of War: Vietnam with a shower cap on your head, or at least something that makes your hair harder to grip in spur of the moment frustration. Right from the off the uninitiated will be tearing clumps of man-fur straight from their skull as this game sets out to kick you in...

Men of War: Vietnam

Prior to playing Men at War: Vietnam we had an idea in our mind's eye of what we would have liked it to be. We had visions of a game with Company of Heroes ‘ style mixed with Dawn of War's real time tactical gameplay.
