Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Review – Winning With Style (PS4)

Those who haven't kept up with Infinite ‘s development might be shocked by how different it is compared to its predecessor Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 . The frantic three-on-three combat has been replaced with two-on-two battles (although the action is still very much fast-paced), and the core...

Great online options; Story mode is often hilarious; Infinity Stones add new strategy

Mission mode could be better; Despite great animations; characters models don't impress; Arcade mode boss isn't fun

Battle Of The Brands

Video games and comic books are bursting with larger-than-life characters. These fictional heroes are so dynamic that most fans dream about the epic throwdowns that might ensue if these titans ever meet. Games like Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite brilliantly tap into that geeky dream.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Review

It seems like everyone is fighting each other lately, doesn't it Whether it's in the increasingly depressing real-world news or in the numerous comics and comic-related movies out there, it alway

Accessible for everyone; Deep and flowing combo system; Use Infinity Stones during fights

Loading screens break the flow of story mode; Characters don't look quite right

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Review

The opening moments of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite 's story mode are perhaps the worst opening of any videogame story around, and seemingly confirm the sort of fears and cynicism that's surrounded the game's promotional build up.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite Review – A Powerful New Challenger Enters the Arena

When Marvel Entertainment and Capcom ended their partnership after Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 , the fighting game world didn't know if the two titans would ever fight again. Turns out the will of the people is strong enough to mend a broken business deal, and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite has risen...

Varied roster of unique characters; Active Switching changes the game; Infinity Stones enhance strategy and team-building; Story keeps you interested

Auto Combo/Easy Hyper are easily abused; Roster needs some filling out through DLC

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite

The real accomplishment of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is that it's able to make a schmo like me feel as if I'm pulling off the same jaw-dropping feats of combo ingenuity as those experts.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Review

Marvel and Capcom have spent decades partnering up to bring Marvel characters into a fighting game. Marvel vs. Capcom titles in particular are fondly remembered among those gaming in arcades during the late 90's, and the series usually has one of the more ridiculous looking tournaments during...

Still a very good Capcom fighting game that's accessible; Infinity Stones liven up the 2v2 combat; Decent use of Marvel IP; Online; at least for the time being; runs well

Capcom roster lacking oomph, Story mode is utter rubbish, Plays it far too safe for Marvel vs; Capcom

Plays fantastic but a lack of soul

Deep extremely fun fighting engine that allows for a lot of creativity, it really is a blast to play which I was quite suprised about. Outside of that the game is quite ugly from the character models to the U.I. and a slightly weak roster.

Marvel VS Capcom Infinite Review – Lacking Character

When I was a kid I remember having a bunch of action figures from different TV shows and games. I'd play with them altogether and concoct crazy storylines that made no sense to their respective origins – at one point I think I had Batman teaming up with Goku to take down Leonardo the Ninja Turtle.

Polished Fighting Mechanics; Balanced Special Attacks

Lacklustre Graphics; Convoluted Storyline; Character Roster Leaves A Lot To Be Desired
