Dumbed Down Combo System

I bought this a week ago, and begin to like it. It's fast paced, and has a decent amount of characters. The only problem is the dumbed down combo system. With automatic combos, someone who's never played before can beat someone with more time by simply smashing buttons.

Not up to previous MvC standards, but still fun

Not as fun nor interesting as the previous MvC games, but still entertaining. The story mode is mostly cliche and predictable. There is a decent arcade mode with adjustable difficulty levels along with a local vs and player vs comp modes. There is mission/ tutorial and practice modes too.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Review

This really is a game that a few years ago seemed an impossible dream. A lot has changed since the last Marvel vs Capcom game – Marvel is now one of the most bankable licenses on the planet and Capcom is, well, still Capcom.

Decent trials to teach you to an intermediate level; Unique fighting system; Online Lobbies offer increased functionality than previously

Ugly UI and a lack of polish; Story mode is a bit lacklustre; Disappointing roster of characters

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite Review

Marvel and Capcom have spent decades partnering up to bring Marvel characters into a fighting game. Marvel vs. Capcom titles in particular are fondly remembered among those gaming in arcades during the late 90's, and the series usually has one of the more ridiculous looking tournaments during...

Still a very good Capcom fighting game that's accessible; Infinity Stones liven up the 2v2 combat; Decent use of Marvel IP; Online; at least for the time being; runs well

Capcom roster lacking oomph, Story mode is utter rubbish, Plays it far too safe for Marvel vs; Capcom

Game Review: Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

The original Marvel vs. Capcom 3 released back in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so to say that this follow-up has been overdue, is an understatement. So finally in 2017, we finally have that new game in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite .

Fast; frantic and fun gameplay; Caters for both hardcore and newcomer fan base; For the most part; it's a beautiful looking game

Story modes pacing struggles to keep me interested; Facial animation could have been better; Online player base is dead already; Not enough male and female character variety in base game

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite review – I Wanna Take You for a Ride

Marvel's superheroes (or at least some of them) take on Capcom's video game heroes in the latest fighting game crossover.

Fun, fast-paced fighting gameplay that's accessible for newcomers and has plenty of depth for veterans; Very well designed move-sets; Good range of game modes and training options

Uninspired line-up of characters is very disappointing; Bland visuals and a general lack of panache to the presentation

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite PC Review

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has an insanely dedicated fan base. Even when the game was denied any patches about a year after launch, which followed with the game being pulled from all the digital stores, along with its DLC at the end of 2013 – because Disney, who bought Marvel back in 2009, decided...

Massively disappointed

I'm a big fan of both Capcom and marvel and was really looking forward to this game. But it was kind of a let down the roster of characters was underwhelming and the gameplay was not the best. I'd stick to the previous version which is hard to get hold of.

Infinite fun.

Eagerly awaited this next title in the MvC series, all that is missing is some x-men. But hey DLC can sort that out (after all, you know you love it you dirty, filthy rotters). Press punch, press kick, press that button that makes the screen go all bonkers, listen to Hulk bang on about smashing some...

Nah.

Capcom fighting games, I always seem to fall out with them, it's usually a poor online mode or connection issues but this game I just didn't like at all.
