Oh Mario

Mario, possibly the most recognisable video game character of all time. This game's interaction is perfectly purposed for the switch and it's execution is brilliant fun.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle review

Baz enters a world that's the stuff of nightmares - one where a group of beloved pop culture icons has been mixed with a former plumber and his mates.

Fun combat with good character maneuverability; Unique character designs

Limited accuracy percentages; Puzzle design; Rabbids

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Review

Based on its colorful world, beautiful animation, and source material you might expect Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle to be "My first turn-based tactics game." But you're in for a surprise: even for XCOM vets some of its battles are challenging puzzles.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (for Nintendo Switch)

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle sounds like a really silly idea, and it is. Rabbids are silly, and Mario is hard to take seriously, too. But instead of just making a gimmick game with Mario-style platforming or Rabbids-style minigames, Ubisoft crafted a genuinely deep, challenging strategy RPG...

Deceptively deep, complex gameplay; Tons of maps and challenges; Well-executed, fun premise

Squad sizes are limited; No online or competitive multiplayer modes

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Review

Wacky yet challenging, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle serves turn-based gameplay at a break-neck pace.

Complex; nuanced strategy; Unique movement mechanics; Surprisingly action-packed for a strategy game; Tons of content; Great fan service for Nintendo characters

Sudden difficulty spikes in boss fights; Repetitive puzzles; Underwhelming story

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle review

There's a number of people who see evil when they look in a Rabbid's eyes. They don't see the playful nature of a mischievous scamp, they see a Bugs Bunny that's befriended Trainspotting's Sick Boy.

Looks like a mainline Mario game; Linking up to cause damage is joy when it comes off; Rabbid Peach

Some battles go on a bit longer than wanted

Review: Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle should not work and should not be this fun, but it does work and it is that much fun. Ubisoft has done a commendable job in bridging two franchises together. If you're a Nintendo Switch owner, this is one game you should put into your library.

Exciting gameplay; Decent challenge; Colourful; vibrant world

Little offered in terms of content in the worlds

Mario + Rabbids Battle Kingdom Review – Accessible, light, and a true Mario experience

Admit it! When you first heard that Ubisoft had landed itself the Mario license to make a strategy game that starred its polarizing cast of insane “not-Minions†Rabbids, you just about burst a blood vessel in your brain. "Who do they think they are, messing with an iconic character in this way?

Addictive with some flaws

Game has pretty grafiics and is very addictive but the story is way to long and kind of annoying. Battles are good puzzles lol...but again is addictive and entertain.

...

Well...there are many things i can say about this game, but if you want both your kids senity and their well being, do not let your kids play this game. It infuriating and is not for kids that this game is supposedly "design" for.
