Mario Kart Is Back
So fun watching my granddaughter being introduced to this game. She is still working to understand the buttons but learning quickly.

Essential buy for the switch
Excellent value for money, even at ￡42. The game was first released in 2014, and is still going strong. A must buy for multiplayer, parties, and online play. Single player for practice when you need it the most. Everyone should own this one in their game collection.

Great 'party' game!
Mario Kart 8 deluxe includes all un-locked circuits of past versions of the game with the ability to collect coins that un-lock better karts, wheels and wings. It's always a favourite of mine because it's one of the best multi-player games out there and appeals to all the family!

Mario kart
Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter as a digital download. Playing Mario kart on Christmas Day my daughter loved the game. I had a battle trying to get onto the the switch to play. The game is really good fun lots of challenges to keep you busy. The courses are provides a variety to users.

Fantastic fun and even neat. Fun with so many courses. And cool tracks. Also fun that it is cheaper to buy in Nintendo eShop than in any store. Love to have all games digitally. :)

- Absolutely gorgeous when docked and undocked
- Everything unlocked from the beginning
- Battle Mode

- Framerate issues when local games have three our four players

A hallmark of excellence. It may have some flaws, but they are negligible to what is otherwise a supreme title.

It takes some guts to launch a port of a game in your previous generation as a big release on your shiny new console, but that's exactly what Nintendo have done. Many a gamer never got to play the fantastic Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U.
Pros:
- Multiple multiplayer options
- Battle mode is now worthy of your time
- All the DLC on the Wii U included
- Small improvements that'll please veterans of the game
- Play it anywhere you want
Cons:
- Lacking a missions mode
- Not being able to switch items if you have two

Mario Kart 8 was already a great game on the Wii U. Now on the Nintendo Switch it's even better. Bringing everything from the previous games into one package and putting it on a new system was a great call.
