There'll be arguments about what's a fitting price tag for what is at heart a port, but all that's moot in the face of what remains one of the most exquisite video games in recent years.

Pros:
- Loads of courses and characters
- New Battle Mode does the job
- Portable play is ace
Cons:
- No new courses
- 200cc mode can be iffy

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes the best and makes it better. The original's awesome collection of courses, characters, and customization are only enhanced by Smart Steering and the welcomed return of Battle Mode.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is why you should own a Nintendo Switch
Just as with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , Nintendo has somehow managed to create another game that goes above and beyond all expectation. Not only is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe good, it's unbelievably good for something that essentially amounts to a refreshed release of a three-year-old title.
Pros:
- 42 racers
- 48 courses and so much new content
- Battle Mode is back and better than ever
- Plenty of content to keep Mario Kart 8 completionist's occupied
Cons:
- Price seems somewhat steep for those who already own Mario Kart 8
- Full online functionality isn't ready quite yet

Awesome party game with heaps of replay value.
I've spent countless hours playing this with the mates on Wii U, and the Switch version is even better. Native 1080p at 60fps looks incredible, the new battle mode is good fun, and online lobbies are easier to come by. The fact that Only 2 sets of joycon are needed for 4 players is convenient if there is already another switch in the house too!

Still Great!
I was unsure what to expect from this as it is a game I already owned for Wii U. All the download content from the previous release is already included. I feel like now I can fully enjoy the game. I play it online at home and when I'm out with Friends.

Great Game!!
This game is so much fun! It brings together all of the great features of past Mario Kart's but the quality is 10x better. You can always get new kart features which makes it exciting and fun. I would highly recommend it!

It's just a fun, simple racing game. Perfect for someone looking for a good multiplayer game for their Switch.

Awesome
At first, I thought I got ripped off, but I didn't. I played for 3 minutes and loved it. I used to play mario kart wii until I found this game
