Madden NFL 17 certainly isn't a release for the series that introduces sweeping changes for the annual franchise. Smart tweaks to familiar modes, a slew of accesibility features, and a presentation that continues to impress, it's hard to knock this year's package for what it contains.

New running features makes this the most balanced and enjoyable Madden yet, but a few awkward sights and sounds will remind you that it's just a game.

The Year of the Running Back

It's been a number of years since I last played a Madden game. I'm not exactly a fan of American Football, I'm more your English Football man…providing it's only watching, I'm actually terrible at FIFA and PES..but I'm half-decent at Rocket League.

Madden games have become like iPhones – people only need to buy them every 2-3 years, yet this doesn't stop hordes from lining up for a shiny new one every September. Madden NFL 17 is no exception.

Madden is back for another NFL season, continuing its impressive run to over 30 years, the majority have been decent games. Even though we have had some great Madden titles in the past, there's a few that stand out and Madden 17 is one of them.

Improvements to defensive running; Beautiful presentation + Franchise mode is back on form with cutbacks and helps notify who to sign; Commentary is a massive improvement

Bad loading times; May be a bit too overwhelming for new comers

This game is a good game I would recommend it for sports fans. But if you already have Madden 16 or Madden 15 I wouldn't get it but there are some new moves, But hey I cant tell you how to spend your money. So hopefully you will think about buying this game.
