At the time I bought this the game was my favorite game, but now it's the newer MX GP 2 game, both are fun is you enjoy racing games and the off-road.

Going into MXGP: The Official Motocross Videogame for the first time, I had an idea what I was getting myself into. I've seen motocross championships on television and am generally a fan of off-road racing, regardless of the amount of wheels.

Fun game if you are into the genre. It could have and SHOULD have been so much better though on the ps4 system though. The bikes all sound the same and nothing like real mx bikes. Some more full motion video would have made it more realistic too.

But it tries too hard to be true to life, too simulation-y, and it takes away from the immersion rather than adds to it.

With media coverage extensive as it is these days, it is increasingly rare when a video game comes out where I am able to approach it with absolutely no preconceived impressions. Such is the case for MXGP.

Very good once you get the hang of it. After doing MX for 30yrs plus, I found this very realistic to the real thing on how the bike handles and the rider moves. Great bike set up features too.

It seems every review this game received was written by people who don't even understand the sport of motocross, and would rather to free roam with garbage physics on GTA5 or something. This game's physics blow any ATV vs MX game out of the water.
