The first Lost Planet game felt very much like what a classic 2D side scrolling action game would feel like if somebody made it in 3D. The story was hokey, the action was pretty hectic at times, and you killed the bigger bugs by shooting at the glowing red spot which identified their weak point.

Wow I am surprised that this game received bad reviews... I never played any of the other lost planets but this one was pretty dang good. In the beginning the pacing is a bit off and the loading is annoying... But other than that this game thought outside the box.

LostPlanet 1 and 2 were popular, but since then, standards of what video games should be have changed, and it's no longer acceptable to just churn out a generic shooting game where there are plenty of other action games which have added more depth to the formula.

This is a shoddy port and the graphics look somehow worse than my PS2. Don't let the cheap price dupe you - save up for a better game!

This is a very good game, anyone who bashes it is only but hurt because its not a mindless run & gun like the the last game. Its not a top notch triple A title but LP3 is a very solid and fun game that plays like dead space & red faction Armageddon.

franchise has experienced some peculiar ups and downs since it was let loose on the world in 2006. The original found a solid footing in the third person shooter arena and there was much hope from its loyal following that the franchise would flourish.

The third Lost Planet felt like a last chance to save the series, but it just never lives up to anything and is dull in comparison to other shooters on the market. The combat is average, the story isn't that bad but standard overall and the multiplayer isn't anything new.

Returning to E.D.N. III, new developer Spark Unlimited tries to light a fire to the cold format of 'Lost Planet'.
