Really good game overall. Great graphics with the unreal engine, which is rare. Sound is a little scratchy is some places. Many things to do in this game. Optional quests are fun, large world (although not totally open), cool upgrades to purchase.

Son enjoyed it. Worked well.

is a prime example of a hit and miss shooter, displaying fleeting moments of potential here and there, but ultimately let down by generic gameplay and poor level design.

Vary fun game engaging story

Lost Planet 3 has tried to return to the frozen wasteland that should have made the original famous, but instead it just feels like a poor man's Dead Space 3 . It doesn't do anything particularly memorable, and lets down its best moments with lazy level design and a cheap presentation.

In Lost Planet 3, gamers play as Jim Peyton, who goes above and beyond (our solar system) to provide for his family back on earth. Peyton soon discovers though that life on planet E.D.N. III. is not the paid holiday the brochures made it out to be.

Lost Planet 3 is, at the end of the day, an unremarkable if competently made third-person shooter. It doesn't really innovate on the formula and unless you're new to the hobby, you should be able to draw a straight line between it and its obvious influences.

Being a hardened LP2 player, this game is slightly disappointing, long and not very well thought out. The restrictions placed on your character movement is frustrating and bosses are repetitious, so it makes me wonder why the developers ever wondered that this game will be a winner!
