The first ' Lost Planet ' was a fantastic looking game, with an interesting single player, and some great team-based multiplayer- how does the sequel compare? All the previews have certainly made the game seem like it will be far more varied, and certainly even more epic than the first game, which...

In theory, a cooperative online shooter on the PC should be relatively easy to pull off. After all, the FPS genre was honed to perfection on the PC and the whole online multiplayer FPS craze was pioneered by PC games like Unreal and Quake.

When the biggest selling action games of recent memory include lengthy solo-campaign and expansive multiplayer experiences, the pressure on developers to release similarly well featured packages must be huge.

Ten years after the events of the original game, Lost Planet 2 tells the story of the brutal conflict to collect life sustaining Thermal Energy on E.D.N III. Numerous factions fight to control the precious material, and are willing to do whatever it takes in order to survive.

Originally released in 2007 for the Xbox 360, Lost Planet was generally well received. A year later, PS3 owners were able to see what the fuss was all about. For the most part, it was a faithful but flawed port. Lost Planet 2 has all the features of a great game.

I warn you now, do not buy this game if you have some sort of anger problem or have a short attention span, because this game, without a doubt is the hardest game i've ever played in my life.

First Impressions My reaction is The first Lost Planet was as on and off as it gets. The series did how ever show potential. The level design was awesome and the enemies came in all sizes and shapes.

Lost Planet 2

When Capcom started making games for this generation of consoles, it didn't immediately go for franchise sequels like Devil May Cry 4 or Resident Evil 5 , nor did they go for franchise reboots like Bionic Commando or re-releases of their arcade classics.
