Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3)

When first hearing about Lollipop Chainsaw sometime last year it immediately garnered my attention with its offbeat presentation and unique sense of style. A chainsaw-wielding cheerleader decapitating zombies against a background of stars and rainbows? Did I really just see that?

its rated M for a reason!

why are people complaining about the cussing its a fun game with lots of action and the reason why they rated it mature is obvious! lots of blood and gore and swearing, lighten up!

Lollipop Chainsaw Review | Suda's Sweet, Sexy & Stupid Surprise

Juliet Starling is an ordinary 18-year old. She's one of the most popular girls in school, captain of the Cheerleading team and totally in love with her wholesome beefcake boyfriend Nick. She loves lollipops and shopping.

Deliciously; deliriously inventive - both visually and in terms of gameplay; Competent gameplay with a focus on high score runs; Hilarious

Boxy level design; some weak minigames/set pieces; Potentially incredibly offensive; Empirically short campaign; poor value if you're not a fan of score attack

Lollipop Chainsaw Review (PS3)

PlayStation LifeStyle's review of Lollipop Chainsaw for the PlayStation 3.

+Great music and interesting flair to the presentation

-Combat does very little to help the game along, -Short game; about as bad as the lame jokes

Lollipop Chainsaw review

Suda51 and his Grasshopper Manufacture studio are known for iconic and madcap games, and this latest undead-meets-cheerleaders festival of fan-service is no exception. Jae straps on his shortest skirt and steps into battle.

Great selection of music, new and old; Comedic banter between main characters is entertaining; One great level brings back 8-bit gaming nostalgia

The odd button layout constantly confuses, even with repetitious button, combos; Lazy animation throughout repeated scenes; Volatile difficulty curve, early bosses seem harder than later ones

"Lollipop Chainsaw: Juliet the Zombie Slayer"

Lollipop Chainsaw is the latest game from Goichi Suda, better known to those in the industry as Suda 51. In the west the Japanese video game director is probably best known for the No More Heroes series, which debuted on the Wii, and Killer7 a bizarre shooter that attracted a cult following during...

Good voice acting and music; funny dialogue; lots of unlockables to collect

Story only lasts between 6 and 8 hours; combat is a little repetitive; camera could be better

Have you ever wanted to take a busty cheerleader through a pentathlon of insane action-packed zombie riddled battles to save your high school? Yeah I hadn't thought of it either, but Lollipop Chainsaw makes it so much fun.

Lollipop Chainsaw

Mindless fun, although a little short.

This may be my shortest review ever. Lollipop Chainsaw . It's a game about an 18 year old, top-heavy cheerleader in a short skirt that carries a chainsaw and slays zombies. 10! No, 11!

Lollipop Chainsaw

Obvious to anyone who has "checked" out 'Lollipop Chainsaw' , the lead character makes the game. Of course I am referring to the cheerleading blonde-bombshell, Juliet Stirling; who shares a passion for boys, slaying zombies and lollipops.

Umm; ya; Juliet like rocks; Even with all the bubblegum; "Lollipop" is interesting; Several funny moments and odd situations; Although repetitive; combat is simple and fun; Lots of reasons to replay this one

Repetitive combat; you're going to have sore thumbs here; If you don't like things silly – you're gonna go bonkers; Not much to it; its basically a washing machine of the same objectives; Mature rating might stir away a more suitable audience
