Going into my testing of the MX Master I knew that the MX Master wasn't aiming to be a gaming mouse. Logitech has a whole series of mice that do just that. So I focused my testing on everyday functionality and usage.

Turns out, mouse design is a serious business. Logitech has spent several years designing its new flagship peripheral, the MX Master, capable of embracing not just one but three of your computers, and even coaxing loyal trackpad users back into the fold.

There's very little that the Logitech MX Master won't connect to, although it may be overkill for many users. Mice are mice, right? In an age where trackpads and touch interfaces are taking up so very much of the market, it could be tempting to declare mice as real niche products.
