I use them with my desktop and they impressed me with the sound they put out for being so small.the only thing i find wrong with them is the subwoofer.It's not the sound from the subwoofer,it's there speaker on the bottom it doesn't have a cover.So(as i almost did)when you pick it up and don't know...

I have a MacBook Pro, and the built in speakers try, but are not good for some of my Netflix movies where people speak in lowered tones, etc. This desktop speakers work perfectly. The bass is actually richer than expected.

Bought this for my sons room and he loves it, makes him feel cool around his friends. This wouldnt do well in a larger room as the quality of sound isnt what Id consider good enough.

Nice little setup, not real high end, but the price reflects that. Much better than what would usually come on or with your computer out of the box though. I listen to streaming videos, itunes, and things of that nature with this setup, and it does a fine job.
I bought these speakers just two days ago expecting to get what i paid for. I actually got more than what i paid for. These speakers have great bass and sound excellent with my macbook. I couldn't be happier. These speakers stand up with the speakers of higher prices.
