I already owned a K520 when I decided to take the plunge and order a K800. The K520 is a quality piece of kit which I really couldn't criticise, and the K800 looks like just the same thing with a backlight - so what's not to like?

Verdict A fantastic keyboard that makes working in the dark easy. It's also brilliant for those that frequently have long typing marathons.
Is CNET reviewer sure the colour of the backlit illumination is blue or mainly white with some touches of orange? Keys coating could be a disaster if with the passing of time peels, otherwise it is a very good product.
Almost everything
Keys coating
The packaging is fairly simple it just a thin cardboard box with the design of the keyboard on the front to show you what it actually looks like. It has bullet points down the side to show the key features of the keyboard, It's name and more importantly the best thing about this keyboard that it...
can type in the dark; betetr looking; smaller keys
the price; sometimes wireless connection doesn't work
The lighted key function works great and turns on automatically when your hand is near the keys. The key stoke has a better feel and shorter stroke than usual Logitech's. The keys are very quiet. I would have rated 5 stars except for the legs that tilt the keyboard.
Don't listen to the people who are complaining about this keyboard. It's really nice. I haven't had one problem, and I would rather occasionally plug it in to charge than have to futz around with replacing dead batteries. You will not have to plug it in to charge very often.
Never expected using a lighted keyboard would be so nice to use. So easy to install too. Slim design with exceptionall sturdy rubber coated feet to raise the back of the keyboard and it stays in place. Wonderful product!
As the title states, Had mine over 5 years. Still works great! Though I did just replace the rechargeable batteries. Got around to only lasting two weeks before I had to recharge and I didn't like that. not to much of a problem really. But with new batteries I'm back to 4 months between charges.
It's been two years since Logitech first debuted its Illuminated Keyboard , a corded input device that added an illuminated backlit feature to an otherwise classic PC keyboard. We gave it high marks for its practicality and affordability, but the core design just got an overhaul with the Wireless...
