Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

The Logitech G502 is one heck of a mouse. It’s got a great build quality and a great feel to it. The soft-sleeved USB cable is a great touch and looks amazing. The design is sleek and as long as you like blue you’re all set with the G502.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

The G502 Hero's design is a bit overcomplicated, but it's still the go-to heavy palm grip mouse with a new, even better sensor.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

I’m overall extremely pleased with the G502 Lightspeed and its pairing with the PowerPlay. The mouse is comfortable, the 11 customizable buttons all feel like they’re in the right place, the responsiveness of Lightspeed wireless is, to me at least, indistinguishable from a wired experience, and the...

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

As you might have guessed from the name, the Logitech G502 Hero is a slightly fancier version of Logitech’s classic £50 / $50 G502 gaming mouse . For an extra £30 / $30 , you can bag yourself a 16000 DPI sensor as opposed to a 12000 one, left and right clickers with a 50 million click endurance...

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

How do you build a successor to the best selling gaming mouse to date? This tall task was taken on by Logitech while developing the G502 Proteus Spectrum gaming mouse . The answer? Some RGB loving, obviously.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

It’s really difficult telling gaming mice apart nowadays. All feature highly adjustable DPI or sensitivity settings. All are somewhat colourful and snazzy with splashes of style littering their compact bodies.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

I’m aware that Logitech G502 Lightspeed is a very pricy peripheral, at $150, but it’s definitely an investment that you’re not going to regret. It comes with pretty much all of the features you would want from a mouse, and more. It’s fast, reliable, and you won’t ever notice that it’s not wired.

By far, the best part of the mouse is the perfect response time in wireless mode. At thins point, everything else is just icing on a cake. It’s also worth mentioning that Logitech recommends that receiver is at most 20cm away from the mouse, for best performance, but that’s not always possible.

It’s a mouse without any significant faults, and I would have to be extremely picky even to identify some. For example, the DPI shift button might be a little to close to the finger, and people with longer fingers might hit it by mistake.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

It’s a great mouse - as the G502 Proteus Spectrum was before it - but with the Lightspeed tech backing up the Hero 16K sensor, and optional PowerPlay wireless charging, the new G502 is almost the complete package.
