Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

We’ve tested a whole lot of mice over the years, but ever since September 2016, we’ve personally used nothing but Logitech's G403 and more recently its close cousin the G703. In our review of the G403 , we called it “The One,” as in the one mouse everyone had been waiting for, which made all other...

Unmatched wireless gaming and wireless charging performance; aesthetics that are still from the future

Wireless features matched by other Logitech mice; dated design betrayed by too-narrow grip; too expensive

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

Over the past couple of years, Logitech has delivered a string of quality G-series releases, particularly when it comes to mice. Recently, the company has started to turn its attention toward its more popular models from the past, updating them with wireless sensors and Lightspeed support to turn...

Fantastic feel and an attractive design, just as you'd expect from the G502, Lightspeed and Powerplay compatibility are great to see, Lots of options for customization through G Hub

Price, as usual, will shut some people out from owning the G502

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

It’s a great mouse - as the G502 Proteus Spectrum was before it - but with the Lightspeed tech backing up the Hero 16K sensor, and optional PowerPlay wireless charging, the new G502 is almost the complete package.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

As someone who works on a computer and plays video games when time permits, it's safe to say I do a lot of mousing. For years I've favored the Logitech Performance MX 's big, comfortable design and its 'Darkfield' laser sensor has always been more than capable of keeping up despite being wireless...

Between its comfortable layout, 4K-friendly 12,000 DPI, surface calibration software and its sub-$100 price tag, the G502 seems like Logitech's new go-to enthusiast mouse.

Its cord is no trouble but the G502 isn't wireless and that could be a con for you. It may also sit a little low for someone with a large hand and a preference for the palm grip.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum does everything a perfect mouse should do. It's highly customisable, it looks good, works flawlessly and it is durable.

Good ergonomics Highly customisable Feels comfortable while using Plenty of programmable inputs Variable sensitivity adjustment Durable cable Appealing design Software interface is very effective for tuning

Teflon stands may wear off Scroll wheel too sensitive Cable may feel too heavy

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

It’s really difficult telling gaming mice apart nowadays. All feature highly adjustable DPI or sensitivity settings. All are somewhat colourful and snazzy with splashes of style littering their compact bodies.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

The G502 Hero's design is a bit overcomplicated, but it's still the go-to heavy palm grip mouse with a new, even better sensor.

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

The long-awaited G502 Lightspeed wireless is an excellent mouse brimming with thoughtful features, hampered by a stinging price point.

Top notch HERO sensor, 11 fully programmable buttons, Modular weight, Compatible with the Powerplay charging mat

Very expensive at $149.99 (£129.99 in the UK), Built solely for righties

Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse 910-005569 review

Logitech's G502 Lightspeed is pricey, even for a wireless mouse, but you get all the benefits of a cordless controller without the trade-offs.

Wireless with almost no latency., Great battery life., Wireless charging with PowerPlay mousepad.

Expensive., Lighting isn't visible when in use.
