When buying a monitor arm, filter your selection process by WEIGHT of the monitor NOT THE SIZE. The size of the Vesa mount is also important, (75mm or 100mm typically). I purchased this mount for my 34inch monitor as it is "rated" for screens that size. The gotcha is the larger monitor arms like this have a minimum weight for their pneumatic arms to support. Modern large screens can be too light for the arms to lower. So if your screen weighs less than 9Kg, buy a smaller unit.

Holding up my CRG9 this is an excellent stand. had to drill through the desk but worth it for the stability this thing brings to a large screen.

Ok, so it does work with samsung CHG90 49" monitor, BUT the tilt you have to screw it so damn tight to prevent it from tilting downwards. Even then the monitor will tilt over time. My solution was to remove VESA mount off the arm from the swivel part and replace it with the one came from the monitor's original stand (quite easy as it is literally a large screw on both mount) adding a washer to fill the gap and the monitor will no longer tilt downwards randomly.

I bought this Monitor arm for my ACER X34p 3440x1440 120hz monitor and I'm really happy with it but the issue for me was that my monitor is not meeting the weight requirements of this arm. My monitor weighs about 8.5KG without the stand and the arm is rated at 9-20KG. I solved it my taping a half kilo weight to the back and now the arm works as intended. For me its not a Biggy as I have this monitor for a few years already and my next monitor will be 34' or higher so will be heavier for sure. But YMMV. This arm can hold a Samsung Odyssey G9 and can articulate the screen when it's mounted. However, it requires you to do the vertical lock screws up very tightly. I would cover the front of the screen with something soft to avoid damaging it while mounting; ideally it's a two person job.
