great game definitely recommend and good value for money
More quirky fun with sack boy and friends, a good fun game to play!
Beautiful, creative and filled with knitted joy, LittleBigPlanet 3 does however disappoint in its Adventure mode's comparatively sparse content. Nonetheless, it hands over an impressive array of exceptional design tools for budding creators.
LBPs visuals look stitch perfect on PS4; New toys and characters are great fun to play with; Possibilities are even more endless in create mode
Checkpoint system is frustrating in adventure mode; Story feels like it's over far too soon; Two player signposting could be clearer
LittleBigPlanet' s debut at Game Developers Conference in 2007 inspired promise that is almost impossible to quantify today. It seemed insane. An arts & crafts platformer where you made your own levels and seamlessly shared them with other players who you could also collaborate with? Madness!
Clean arts & crafts style still rules; New characters and items impressively change up LBP's platforming; Creative tools still allow for incredible range in making your own games
Campaign does little to teach how to use creative tools; Constant interruptions for ineffective tutorials and pontificating; New characters far too under used
Once again we're reunited with Sackboy (or Sackgirl), a household name with a history of creativity and jovial optimism. Strangely, on the eve of Sony's flagship franchise making its first appearance on PlayStation 4, Media Molecule passes the reins to a new developer in Sumo Digital. The result...
LittleBigPlanet 3 is the first of the cutesy series entries to grace the PS4, and this time round the big focus is on the introduction of three new characters. Along with the ever loveable Sack Boy, LittleBigPlanet 3 introduces Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop, three brand new friends each with their own...
Strong and immersive storyline; Gadgets and Sack Pocket add new gameplay layers; Beautifully crafted levels and soundtrack; New characters to master; Strong community created content
Campaign is far too short; Not enough co-op fun; Last levels are evil
LittleBigPlanet 3 is finally here for us PlayStation owners. Even though technically it's the "5 th " instalment of the series (with the inclusion of the PSP and PS Vita versions), that doesn't faze us or bother us in the slightest.
Hugh Laurie provides an excellent performance, Looks lovely, packed with colour, Wonderful & smart soundtrack; Best of the franchise, Jam-packed full of content thanks to the community levels, All the 3 new characters are a delightful edition, all very unique & very fun to play, The level designs...
The introduction takes a while & is boring; The main story is fairly short; A fair few glitches & bugs still present; which can happen at the most unfortunate times
There's a lot to like about LittleBigPlanet 3 , and even a bit to love; series devotees will want to dive back into this imaginative world, especially on PlayStation 4 . But its predecessors felt livelier, funnier, and more vital, not to mention better crafted – and the issues here are both on the...
Still super charming; Expanded Creation tools; Looks great on PS4
Major bugs at launch; Design frustrations; Co-op underwhelms
Without these problems, I'd have no hesitation in saying this is the best LittleBigPlanet game to date. The deeper integration of creative elements into the story is a big plus, as is the superior level design, and the new characters are very welcome, even if they're ultimately underused.
