I bought this WRT1200AC for a small organization with 6 users. After 30 min on the phone with linksys tech support trying to get access to router, I hung up and went online for help. Setup was easy once connected to router. Works great after 1 week.

Not worth the money.
Setup is easy
Poor wifi range
The latest addition to the Linksys family of WRT open-source-ready routers , the WRT1200AC ($149.99) is a dual-band model that delivers solid throughput on the 5GHz band and offers extremely fast USB-storage-transfer speeds.
Easy setup; Good 5GHz performance and speedy USB file transfers in testing
Large footprint; Weak performance on our 2.4GHz tests
Note: I'm a software engineer with a degree in Information Technology, so I'm very familiar with network hardware and attempted multiple resets and re-installations as well as tweaking just about every setting I could find.
Looks nice? Supports WRT distributions
STUPID SLOW; I tested my connection speeds while connected directly to my modem and was consistently able to get speeds around 30Mbs download and 8Mbs upload; I then added this router into the mix and my wired speed drops to 6 down and 4 up, while my wifi drops to an impressively terrible 0.6 down...
I have 6 people in the house 2 teens and 2 that are in grade school. the smart WIFI enables me to control all the devices on the network. It will controls them through time limits and even what web sites they can visit. the APP is good TOO
The Linksys WRT1200AC has decent 5GHz 802.11ac performance, but there are better routers for the price
We've seen a great router on the previous page and the price just got even better with the MSRP being dropped to just MSRP £159.99. At the time of writing, the Linksys WRT1200AC can be had at NewEgg for $179.99 , Amazon UK for £192.48 .
Dual-Band AC; Powerful but power efficient CPU; USB 2.0; USB 3.0; eSATA file sharing; OpenWRT compatible; Parental Control; Guest Access; and Firewall

Linksys routers typically fall into one of two categories: the sleek and stylish models such as its E1700 or the comparatively garish but more fully-featured models such as the WRT1200AC.
Summary: Great styling, good build quality and excellent software/stability. Ideal for the average consumer who doesn't need the enhanced signal strength and extreme multiple device connectivity/usage of the more expensive model.
