Not so happy about the performance

I was hoping for much better performance as compared to my older router. This just happens to give a moderate performance in terms of coverage as compared to a product half the price.

Average At Best

I bought this router because I had pretty poor WiFi in my house from my provider's hub and also for the traffic prioritisation as I am a gamer and wanted to ensure a seamless connection when gaming.

Linksys MAX-STREAM AC1900 Dual-Band MU-MIMO Smart Wi-Fi Gigabit Router, Qualcomm IPQ 1.4GHz Dual Core Processor, Ideal for 4K TV (EA7500)

Worth every penny with any speed you have with your provider. The setup was seamless and easy. I provided the same creds from my old linksys router ea4500 and I was able to connect the EA7500 without loosing my vpn connection. Powerful tool

Biggest piece of junk I ever bought

Despite having a masters degree in IT I have found it impossible to configure this router. I do not want to connect it to the internet, but use it in a private network. Apparently it must have internet to allow configuration. That is unacceptable. Not even worth the effort of returning it.
