Liked it. This unit delivers reliable service with good performance. Like most Linksys units, the feature set is pretty basic, good for most usual usage patterns, somewhat limiting if more advanced functionality is required.
Steady good performance; Convenient remote access setup
Somewhat simplistic menus in the GUI
Supports 2.4 GHz @ N300 300mbps and 5 GHz @ 867mbps.
GUI seems to be the same as other recent Linksys routers in layout: Features guest mode, parental controls, monitoring; Also has a built-in speedtest which is a nice bonus, links to "Ookla" a popular web speedtest.
Would like to see more data streams especially in this tier; For most people looking at this type of router, it's probably all they will need but the way the EA6350 is positioned in the market it seems to be a little uncompetitive in that regard
Easy to follow setup instructions. Customizable settings with guest login. Range has turned out to be better than expected. I have the router positioned in a window on the first floor of the house.
Great router, very easy setup and no buffering. All I need!
Easy To Set Up; Fast Connection Speed; Reliable connection
Had trouble initially with setup, but Linksys support was very helpful with fixing the problem. Once the router was up and running updating and tweaking was a snap.
If you have a small home and run a modest network consisting of a handful of wired and wireless clients, you probably don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for a router with the latest Wi-Fi technologies.
Nice price; Blazing 5GHz throughput in testing; Easy to install and manage
Middling file-transfer speeds; Non-removable antennas
Today we have a new router from Linksys on the bench that is not the fastest connected router we've seen lately, but it does claim some pretty impressive features. While many routers claim to have incredible speed when combining all of their wireless bands, the reality is that not many client...
Great wireless performance (best we've seen in a bridge) and great range; Dual-Band wireless with separate configuration; Secure Guest Network; MU-MIMO lives up to the promise; Can handle small business networks as easily as a home network
Interface can be laggy; Parental controls limited to 14 clients
Power and ease of use come together in the Linksys EA7500.
1.9 Gbps speed across two channels; MU-MIMO directs signal directly at your devices; Advanced; intuitive backend software
Initial setup can become convoluted; Takes up a lot of space on your desk or shelf
The se cond wave of 802.11ac routers are now shipping, and they offer a tantalizing performance benefit over the previous routers we've reviewed (at least with their older firmware) - the ability to broadcast multiple data streams to several clients at once.
