Easy to set up. Although I connected the Router fist then was asked to disconnect the modem and TV box for two minutes. After that, it went on-line. Very satisfied.

I bought a new Liynksys router less than a year ago. Recently I got a new roommate and wanted to change my router's password. I spent hours on the website at different times trying to find the directions/access to my account.
The Cisco Linksys EA3500 N750 App Enabled Dual-Band Wireless Router with Gigabit and USB ($129.99 list) is one of the latest (and greatest) products in the EA router series. Cisco is promoting these routers as "Smart Wi-Fi" routers because they are engineered to work with upcoming cloud management...
Amazing setup; Great throughput at 2.4 GHz in Mixed mode; Very good throughput at 5 GHz; USB port for external storage and printers; Designed to work with the upcoming Linksys cloud-based management software and apps to extend feature set
Does not currently offer extensive feature set
I just moved up from the Linksys Wireless G 2.4GHz router to the EA3500. As my G always performed well I wanted Linksys again. It was a good decision. The EA3500 installed easily, all devices linked to the router quickly and with no problems, my network is secure and guests can log in as I wish.
I conducted testing using my new Nexus 6P, i5-6600k Desktop w/ TP-Link Archer T1U AC450 USB adapter,
- Great GUI, very easy to navigate and understand; Straight forward! Love the new look
- No Mounting holes for easy wall mounting
At first the device worked correctly FOR ONLY 8 MONTHS. They also advertise a 300 + 450Mbps speed on the box, however the fastest possible throughput speed on a wired connection is only 180Mbps and on wireless 5.0Ghz around 100Mbps.
Router works fine, UI login is the worst. Doesn't work with Chrome IE, or Firefox. Time to reset this piece of junk.
This was the easiest router I have ever set up. I have had no trouble with it since installation. I would highly recommend this Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router for ease of set-up and use.
We bought this about a year and a half ago. At first it seemed to work OK, but started developing some glitches. We corrected this by updating to the newest available firmware. A year later and WiFi and wired connections stopped sending the correct DNS server address.
DHCP Reservation system; strong signal; fast; guest wireless network; not expensive; dual band
IP config conflicts and other glitches forced us to update the firmware to the latest version; This new firmware has less settings than the previous version; Because of this, we were not able to correct a dns address glitch.
This router is a nightmare. My old router died and I bought this one to replace it. I had never had to spend so much time to configure my network, and I use it to do very basic and simple stuff.
