Performance wise, Cisco hasn't made any great strides forward with the EA3500. If anything, when compared with Cisco's original "N750" router, the E4200 , performance is a bit lower in some cases.

The Cisco Linksys EA3500 N750 App Enabled Dual-Band Wireless Router with Gigabit and USB ($129.99 list) is one of the latest (and greatest) products in the EA router series. Cisco is promoting these routers as "Smart Wi-Fi" routers because they are engineered to work with upcoming cloud management...
Amazing setup; Great throughput at 2.4 GHz in Mixed mode; Very good throughput at 5 GHz; USB port for external storage and printers; Designed to work with the upcoming Linksys cloud-based management software and apps to extend feature set
Does not currently offer extensive feature set
Both wired and wireless connections are dropping out. I also had a huge issue with the MAC Address being recognized by my modem. I ended up having to use a MAC address clone to get internet.
I just moved up from the Linksys Wireless G 2.4GHz router to the EA3500. As my G always performed well I wanted Linksys again. It was a good decision. The EA3500 installed easily, all devices linked to the router quickly and with no problems, my network is secure and guests can log in as I wish.
This product had good reviews and the wireless range and speed is very good. I recommend this product. The original shipped one had a problem with the wireless but was replaced in 10 days. The new one is working well.
good
I was looking for a replacement for our old wireless router (an airport extreme from apple). I was not looking forward to all the hassle of figuring out setting up a new network for the house, but the airport was slow and crashed a lot so it was necessary.
Easy To Set Up; Fast; Fast Connection Speed; Reliable connection; Secure Connection
We have a computer on the top level of our split level house and another on the bottom level which means we need a router with a clear signal that will make it to all 4 levels of the house. This one does that.
My old router was starting to become intermittant. I sought to replace it with the same. When I got to the store, I found the newer version of my old router. The sales person showed me many options, frankly, some that were a little cheaper. I stuck with Cisco and am happy that I did.
I was replacing a previous product so installation was easy
There are cheaper solutions out there but I liked this Product
I replaced an old linksys router thar kept loosing connection to the Internet. I was very worried about replacing it because I have a switch with eight computers and devises connected that network with each other. This was the most easiest router to install.
