The X prefix denotes that Lexmark aims this printer at small-to-medium businesses, but that's ambitious at this price. We'd suggest it's much better suited to small offices right down to personal use. Mono text documents had only the faintest trace of spidering, perfectly acceptable for an inkjet.

Lexmark X5470 Multifunction Printer
I love this printer all the functions are easy to use ONCE INSTALLED. This printer is not compatable with a lot and is VERY hard to install. There is a review on the Window XP website telling about the problem with installing this printer with most computers and laptops and the guidelines to install...

Lexmark X5470
I bought this last year and have been very satisfied with it. It prints fast and the ink will last a long time if you set the print quality to Quick instead of Normal. In fact, the ink cartridge that came with it lasted me about 6 months.
Pros:
- Cheap
- does everything you need for a multifunction printer
- fast
- quiet
Cons:
- Doesn't work too well with remanufactured ink cartridges
- The Lexmark ink is expensive, but that is true for any inkjet printer

Cheap to buy and run, the X5470 is great for mono printing, but less so for photos and images.

The X5470 is easy to use and reasonably affordable to run, so it's ideal if you need a fax but are on a tight budget.

Lexmark X5470 All–in-One printer
All-in-one printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines are one of the best ways to go if you need all the devices on offer but suffer from a lack of desk space. The X5470 may not be particularly small but it looks quite nice thanks a clean and stylish design and nice grey and white livery.
Pros:

- design
- good photo output with additional six-ink cartridge
- an attractive design and excellent sub ￡100 make this great value for money
Cons:
- Photo printing is slow and very mediocre with "basic" four-ink print cartridge
- ADF jams too easily

Lexmark's latest multifunction device has an attractive, robust design, and scores well for specifications and functionality.

"A great printer and a great price"
This all in one printer is exceptional value for money. It is very compact and neat for a printer that has all these facilities. The print quality is first class for everything up to colour photographs.

Nice Doorstop
This is a fine example of technology that never should have been introduced to the marketplace. My wife bought this for me at Valentine's day, and here it is not even Mother's Day, and the machine does everything but print. Which for a printer is a problem.

Lexmark X5470 AIO All-In-One Printer
I purchased this all in one unit at the beginning of May as a birthday gift for my daughter. Upon her opening it yesterday--there was NO USB cable provided with the unit. I checked the listing and it says nothing about a cable not being provided.
