After reading some of the negative quality reviews on here I was a bit hesitant, but I have been using Thinkpads for 11 years now and never had an issue. In fact, my X60 from 2006 still works, as does my X220 from 2011.

Yet it still gives reason for complaint. The lack of an SD-card reader can only be compensated for with an adapter, which is annoying when using SD-cards a lot. The high case temperatures under load are unpleasant as well and could make working with it on your lap uncomfortable at times.
