Was really looking forward to this perfume coming but feel a bit let down. It smells lovely but it's not very strong so after a while I can't really smell it. Peter Sherlock said it's more an evening fragrance but I think it's more daytime because it's not overpowering.

The inspiration for this beautiful new Lalique fragrance came from the "lys motif" René Lalique used for a flacon in 1924. The motif of the "lys noir" was based on Egyptian frescoes and reinvented by René Lalique, whose entire ?uvre is teeming with floral symbols.

What a lovely cologne. I have purchased Lalique for my husband and loved it and thought it was time for me to try it. Very glad I did.
