I have both this and the yeelight. While the lifx is more expensive it is able to dim lights to incredibly low levels (useful with an automation tool - e.g. go on lowest light settings when it notices movement at 3am in the morning), which is something the yeelight can't do. Make sure you update the firmware on this though, as the new firmware allows for a wider colour temperature range

These lights are easy to set up and control, have a great range of colour temperatures and high light output.

Very good smart bulb. Lifx has updated the firmware to allow a wider temperature range. Happy with this purchase.

Works well with my daughter’s Amazon Echo. The initial firmware update took a while but no problems since then.

Been mostly happy with these LIFX bulbs and now have about 5 of them in the home. They work with Apple Homekit, except were a pain to re-setup when I got a different mesh wifi setup. The automatic colour temperature changing to mimic the sun is pointless. But colour temperature adjustment is essential for different moods.
