LG Watch Urbane review: one of the best Android Wear devices to date

The LG Urbane is one of the bolder Android Wear watches, and it currently sells for less than the self-appointed style guru Huawei Watch. Not everyone's going to like the look, though. It's a bit bulky and a bit flash.

Bold look; Decent quality construction; Always-on screen option

Poor heart rate tracker; Chunky and unsubtle design; 1.5 day battery life is so-so

LG Watch Urbane Review: $350 Buys You The Nicest Android Wear Watch Yet, If That's Something You Want

The Watch Urbane is, in my utterly subjective opinion, the best-looking Wear device yet announced. The Huawei Watch and Moto 360 also look nice, but the Huawei Watch simply is too generic "steel luxury watch" for me, and while the 360 is definitely quite stylish with the right face, I've never been...

Really, really nice The Watch Urbane feels just as nice as it looks - nicer even, perhaps; The polished body is gorgeous, and the subtle design changes make it a much more elegant piece than the G Watch R, Wear 5.1 Android Wear 5.1 adds some new features and overhauls the Wear UI in a few areas, but...

Round screens are still a mixed bag A smaller standard font size and font size options (new in Wear 5.1) make a significant difference compared to the G Watch R; but rectangular text layouts on a circular screen are a difficult pitfall to avoid unless you make the screen really big; $350 It's the...

Very good smartwatch

Really impressed with the build quality, battery life, design, pixel density on the urbane.. Though I am not sure if we need a smart watch in the first place..but thats another story.. But if you are convinced that you need one, then the LG Urbane is the best watch in the market..

LG Watch Urbane review

LG has taken the G Watch R and given it a new metal design and built-in Wi-Fi. Here's our LG Watch Urbane review.

LG Watch Urbane review: All that glitters is not rose gold

LG launched the Watch Urbane to the world, saying it was time to step forward with luxury accessories that people would really want to wear. Presented in stainless steel or rose gold, the LG Watch Urbane looks to take a more traditional approach to this very modern of gadgets.

Round dial; leather strap is standard 22mm size; latest Android Wear 5.1 software

Price is too high; design misses its sophisticated aim; plastic back feels cheap; it's big

Review: LG G Watch Urbane

While the original square G Watch wasn't much to write home about, the G Watch R offered us a better idea of where LG can take Google's wristputers. Its circular design and impressive OLED screen give the Urbane a good platform to build on and deliver the best Android Wear experience available.

Very classy and useful!

I love this watch! Battery life for me is very good, but not great. I like that it still looks like a regular watch yet performs all duties that a smartwatch should. The stock band is holding up very well. It's also much more comfortable since I've broken it in.

LG Watch Urbane review

As one of the first makers of an Android Wear smartwatch, it's no surprise that we have various models to choose from. The new LG Watch Urbane and Urbane LTE drop the 'G' from the name but look very similar.

better looking than an apple watch and almosy as m

I love the LG Urbane. Useful for golf , meetings , reminders birthdays and even playing music from my watch through my car sound system. Very functional. I think the software needs to be improved so the interface looks a bit slicker. Apple have set a standard and Android wear need to catch up.

Performance; Style/Design; Easy To Use; Features/Settings; Quality

Formal attire

LG is a veteran of sorts in the emerging niche of smart wearables. The Watch Urbane is a third generation device refining one of the early circular designs that seem to be the thing now. Smart watches are aiming for a less gadgety look in favor of a classic timepiece design.
