LG Watch Urbane

The LG G Watch R already looked good, but the LG Watch Urbane looks even better. That's important, since appearance is really the only thing that sets the two watches apart. The Urbane has a stainless steel finish and a leather strap for that expensive, business-chic look.

Classic design; Sharp screen

Expensive; Bulky; Stiff leather strap; Android Wear still underwhelms despite 5.1 update

LG Watch Urbane LTE Review: Not Smart Enough

Say goodbye to smartphone separation anxiety. With its own LTE radio onboard, the LG Watch Urbane LTE ($500 full price on Verizon; $450 with two-year plan; $200 with two-year plan on AT&T) promises to unleash you from your smartphone and still let you stay connected by delivering pertinent alerts to...

LTE connectivity for freedom from phone; Solid fitness tracking tool; Android Wear improvements

Bulky design; Relatively short battery life; Limited phone compatibility; Expensive

LG Watch Urbane review

In the three-odd months since I last reviewed an Android Wear smartwatch , the platform has actually grown on me. A big reason is that Google has shipped a new version of the software that isn't so dogmatic about making you bark commands at the watch anymore.

Latest Android Wear software; Decent battery life; Always-on screen

It's just really; really big; Divisive design; Expensive

LG Watch Urbane review: the best Android smartwatch money can buy today

At $349 dollars in the Google Store, it is the most expensive Android Wear device, dethroning its predecessor (or almost twin sibling), the LG G Watch R, which was also the most expensive product, at $299 (and so was the G Watch before that).

Hands-On with the LG Watch Urbane

Wearables are personal. Putting a smartwatch on your wrist is like making a statement - I'm cutting edge and I'm stylish. That's the reason why smartwatches have evolved from square displays made out of plastic to stylish timepieces crafted from polished steel and glass.

[WATCH] Hands-on with the LG G Watch Urbane

A lot of companies are really investing heavily into wearables and LG is no exception. They already made inroads into this market with their first two smart watches: the LG G Watch and the LG G Watch R. Quite recently they announced a new one called the LG G Watch Urbane .

LG Watch Urbane LTE Hands-On Review

The LG Watch urbane is impressive and beautifully crafted. The new user interface based on WebOS is really intuitive with a fully functional keyboard for messaging and placing phone calls. I am eager to know the pricing and when we will be able to get it in the US.

Related – Best Android Watches LG is no stranger to the smartwatch game at this point and it certainly shows, judging by the design and build quality of its latest offering. The Watch Urbane is classy and elegant, and looks great not just in terms of being a smartwatch, but as a watch in general,...

LG watch urbane

I like that it actually looks like a watch and not some tech gadget; It is great that I do not have to look at my smart phone for every notification; Looks great and not that heavy

The battery life is a little short

LG Watch Urbane review: All that glitters is not rose gold

LG launched the Watch Urbane to the world, saying it was time to step forward with luxury accessories that people would really want to wear. Presented in stainless steel or rose gold, the LG Watch Urbane looks to take a more traditional approach to this very modern of gadgets.

Round dial; leather strap is standard 22mm size; latest Android Wear 5.1 software

Price is too high; design misses its sophisticated aim; plastic back feels cheap; it's big
