The LG Watch Urbane has great battery life, works with Android and iOS devices and is now more reasonably priced
At $349 dollars in the Google Store, it is the most expensive Android Wear device, dethroning its predecessor (or almost twin sibling), the LG G Watch R, which was also the most expensive product, at $299 (and so was the G Watch before that).
The LG Watch Urbane is the South Korean company's third attempt at a smartwatch, following in the footsteps of the G Watch and G Watch R . With the Urbane, LG has tried to create a classic-style watch that wouldn't look out of place in formal situations.
Sharp; round display; Metal body
Chunky; tacky design; Poor battery life; Limited app functionality; Questionable heart rate sensor
LG is a veteran of sorts in the emerging niche of smart wearables. The Watch Urbane is a third generation device refining one of the early circular designs that seem to be the thing now. Smart watches are aiming for a less gadgety look in favor of a classic timepiece design.
I love the LG Urbane. Useful for golf , meetings , reminders birthdays and even playing music from my watch through my car sound system. Very functional. I think the software needs to be improved so the interface looks a bit slicker. Apple have set a standard and Android wear need to catch up.

As one of the first makers of an Android Wear smartwatch, it's no surprise that we have various models to choose from. The new LG Watch Urbane and Urbane LTE drop the 'G' from the name but look very similar.
I love this watch! Battery life for me is very good, but not great. I like that it still looks like a regular watch yet performs all duties that a smartwatch should. The stock band is holding up very well. It's also much more comfortable since I've broken it in.
While the original square G Watch wasn't much to write home about, the G Watch R offered us a better idea of where LG can take Google's wristputers. Its circular design and impressive OLED screen give the Urbane a good platform to build on and deliver the best Android Wear experience available.
LG launched the Watch Urbane to the world, saying it was time to step forward with luxury accessories that people would really want to wear. Presented in stainless steel or rose gold, the LG Watch Urbane looks to take a more traditional approach to this very modern of gadgets.
Round dial; leather strap is standard 22mm size; latest Android Wear 5.1 software
Price is too high; design misses its sophisticated aim; plastic back feels cheap; it's big
LG has taken the G Watch R and given it a new metal design and built-in Wi-Fi. Here's our LG Watch Urbane review.
