LG V30 64GB
We're spoilt for choice when it comes to premium-quality smartphones, with the LG V30, as well as the larger LG V30 Plus, being very worthy to this exclusive club. In terms of dazzling features, the V30 ticks a lot of boxes, including these ones!
A Big Screen Experience
The V30 pushes the screen right out to the edges in truly eye-catching style. More than 80% of the front surface area is made up of screen, which hosts a big, clear resolution of 1,440 x 2, 880.
A Near Cinematic Experience
Probably the biggest feature of the screen is what you can watch on it! HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) support means you can enjoy HDR content of cinematic quality from sources including Amazon and Netflix.
A Vastly Improved Camera
The improvements in the V30's camera are in fact so substantial, that it could well be considered the best smartphone camera you can get. It's certainly right up there, thanks to a 16-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera and HDR video, where much attention has focussed on upgrading the shooting, editing and sharing tools.
Sounds Wonderful Too
In recent years, LG phones have made a name for striking audio quality, and the V30 keeps that reputation intact...in fact, it probably enhances it! Put this down to Hi-Fi Quad DAC which basically makes music sound less digital and "tinny", and far more rich and deep, like real music should sound!
Those Important Internals
Some high-quality components inside the V30 deliver the mind-blowing stuff you can see and hear in the V30, with Snapdragon 835 and Android 7.1 Nougat being prominent features of the V30's operational platform.

Yes. The LG V30+ is a well priced, feature packed handset that will make the majority of users happy. Performance wise, the V30+ is spot on. It marries up an excellent processor with a goodly amount of RAM and storage which should be enough for all but the most hardcore of users.
If there's a sleeper phone that's been on our radar for a while here, it's the . LG has been teasing this phone for what seems like an eternity. We actually got our with it a couple of months ago in August.

Pricewise, LG's V30 is also a few hundred dollars cheaper than its premium rivals but can still match them for features. The device has a striking design with a dazzling display, a remarkable camera and numerous other features. LG's V30 is available now from JB Hi-Fi and is priced at $1,199.
After a less than great showing in 2016 LG seems to have fire in its eyes and that passion can be felt in the latest iteration of its smartphones. The G6 that was launched earlier this year was great and that greatness continues in the subject of today's review – The LG V30+.
LG V30 review
It was no surprise whatsoever that LG launched the new V30 at IFA 2017 in Berlin. LG isn't one to keep its phone a secret right up until the launch event and so not only confirmed the name ahead of time, but various specs and features and well.
Flawed perfection
The LG V30 is, for me, the only real choice for a smartphone due to its (almost) unique ability to drive my high-end headphones. It does everyghing as you would expect any flagship Android device to do, but there are niggles.- Design
- Quad DAC
- Speed
- A joy to use
- Screen is not as good as s Samsung OLED
- Needs Google software to unleash cameras
- Middling wi-fi speed
I have mixed feelings about LG range of smartphones. Over the previous two years, the company has had a rough time of competing with the likes of Apple and Samsung with their flagship G-series range of smartphones.
The LG V series of smartphones has always been for those who want a phone that is a photo, video, and audio powerhouse. Now in its third iteration, LG aims to achieve that goal once again by refining its recipe even further.
- Beautiful glass/metal design Display is vibrant and sharp Wireless Charging Hi-Fi Quad DAC IP68/MIL-STD-810G rating All day battery life A feature-rich camera experience MicroSD expansion

LG V30 camera review
With its extreme wide angle secondary camera and and extensive video feature set, the LG V30 makes a great device for vloggers or anyone else interested in video production with a smartphone. The wide angle works great in still photography as well, allowing you to squeeze more into the frame, without the need for accessory lenses. The V30 doesn't quite match the best in class in terms of pixel-level image quality but is otherwise an excellent device for content production and a great smartphone in general use.- Mobile video shooting, wide angle photography
- Zooming, large image magnification
