LG V20 review: The Android phone for hardcore enthusiasts

LG V20 review: the best smartphone for audiophiles
The LG V20 isn't the perfect smartphone. Neither is it the prettiest nor the longest lasting. It has several shortcomings most notably, it lacks Snapdragon 821, it's not waterproof, it isn't as polished as its competition and it has an IPS rather than an AMOLED screen.- Great perfomance
- Android Nougat
- Removable battery
- 32-bit Quad DAC chip
- Wide angle camera
- No wireless charging
- Not waterproof
- Camera underperforms in low light
- Not available in UK or Europe
The smartphone line-up LG presented us with this year has been uninspiring. Sure, the modular design of the G5 was interesting but I felt that too much sway was put on the additional gadgets that came with the handset.
beauty beats price
ah! what a beauty. the awesome appearance creating a feel to acquire one some how
LG V20 review
Update : Sadly, the LG V20 never made its way to regions outside of the US. But there's finally a bit of good news if you were wanting to get your hands on one, or at least something like it. LG is releasing the LG Q8 in European regions. It's a smaller, water-resistant version of the V20.
Don't let its dull looks fool you: Beyond the V20's flagship-level power and slightly tweaked version of Android Nougat is a device tailor-made for creatives. The V20 is an excellent media player (even with lossless files) and doubles as an impressive audio recorder.
- Premium performance
- Excellent audio quality
- Bright
- attractive screen
- One of the few phones to come with Nougat
- Removable battery
- Dual-camera system could be better
- Second screen isn't that useful

- Tough to use with one hand
- Expensive on certain carriers

- -Fantastic build
- Removable back/battery
- MicroSD expansion
- Fast performance
- Android 7.0 Nougat
- Dual rear cameras
- QUAD DAC
- MIL-STD 810G durability

LG V20 Review
The attractive LG V20 phablet is overflowing with features that will appeal to audiophiles, photographers, and average Android users alike. Think of the LG V20 as the result of combining the company's unique V10 with design cues from the newer G5. In short, you get a 5.7-inch metal Android phone with a "secondary" display, two rear cameras, and a host of killer features for audiophiles and photographers. You also get one of the first phones to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat, and one of the few flagships to feature a removable battery. Factor in a durable build, top-notch hardware, and terrific camera performance, and the V20 is one of the best big Android phones you can buy right now. For audiophiles in particular, it shares our Editors' Choice with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Pricing, Design, and FeaturesThe V20's price varies depending on carrier, but it's largely comparable with other high-end flagships on the market. The least expensive place you'll find it is on Verizon, for $672. T-Mobile sells the phone for $769.99, while picking it up on Sprint will run you a bit more at $792. AT&T is the most expensive carrier...- Durable metal body
