Lack of USABLE memory kills this phone outright!
The phone turns out to be nearly useless after about two weeks of use. Even though I have no pictures, no videos, no music, etc., the storage space for APPs is almost nothing. Right out of the box, there is only 1.5MB left, and you CAN NOT (I repeat, you CAN NOT) delete the pre-installed apps, nor...
Pros:
- Performance
- easy to use
- Features/Settings
- Quality
- system memory

Just when we thought LG has wrapped up its LG Optimus series, the brand came out with its new smartphone LG Optimus L9 P765. Available as a mid-range premium handset, L9 promises to deliver just the right amount of performance with the kind of spec sheet it comes with.

- Fast 3G modem
- High speed processor
- Decent camera
- Supports NFC and Wi-Fi calling
Cons:
- Does not include Corning Gorilla Glass
- Battery drains quickly
- Poor audio quality
- Apps cannot be moved to SD card
- No ambient light sensor

Activation is a pain...
So I got my phone and the set up of it was very simple. Lots of apps already preloaded on it, plus the 6 free apps they send the verifications codes for. The case is easy to put on, and I have noticed easy to pop off which can be a good thing so you aren't breaking you nails trying to do so.

LG Optimus L9 P765 Review
While it might seem like LG is losing a little traction on the mobile front, it hasn't stopped the company from launching new devices. The latest to hit India is the Optimus L9 smartphone and this is the P765 variant. It's a neat looking device, but that's never a good reason to make a purchase.

Two cores and two days of battery life: LG's $399 Optimus L9 reviewed
LG hasn't been terribly active in the high-end smartphone market this year, but it has been cooking up a storm with its budget brigade of Optimus handsets, badged under the "L" series. Now it's the end of the year, and LG has one last L-series it would like to show you, the dual-core $399 L9.
Pros:
- Great battery life
- Some of LG's additions and modifications to Android are useful
- Excellent price
Cons:
- Plastic body
- Download speeds aren't the greatest
- Screen is insanely reflective and useless in sunlight

The affordable LG Optimus L9 offers an Android 4.0, dual-core experience
But even putting aside the updated OS and 4G capabilities, users will also get a dual-core processor and a 5-megapixel that can record 1080p HD video. With these decent specs and solid performance, the L9 is worth considering for any T-Mobile customer who wants to get the most out of his or her...
Pros:
- The LG Optimus L9 has a snappy dual-core CPU
- 4G
- Android 4.0
- and a 1080p HD camera
Cons:
- The Optimus L9's battery drains quickly
- it has a poor audio speaker
- and it comes preloaded with too much bloatware

LG Optimus L9 review: An affordable Android 4.0, dual-core handset
The reasonable $80 price tag, dual-core processor, and Android 4.0, make the LG Optimus L9 a reliable midlevel handset. As the biggest and most high-end device in LG's L-series of midrange phones, the LG Optimus L9 from T-Mobile and MetroPCS, delivers just the right amount of specs and performance that make it a solid consideration without being too ambitious.
Pros:
- The LG Optimus L9 has a snappy dual-core CPU
- 4G
- Android 4.0
- and a 1080p HD camera.
Cons:
- The Optimus L9's battery drains quickly
- it has a poor audio speaker
- and it comes preloaded with too much bloatware.

LG Optimus L9 Android phone
The LG Optimus L9 has a large 4.7in, qHD display and an attractive and functional design. It's only marred by a slightly sluggish user experience and a below average camera. At $399, the Optimus L9 represents reasonable value for money. LG's Optimus L9 carries on the company's tradition of pre-paid handsets, but it aims to compete at a slightly higher price point than usual. Retailing for $399, the Optimus L9 sits at the top of the pre-paid price bracket. The large 4.7in, qHD display and an attractive and functional design are only marred by a slightly sluggish user experience and a below average camera.
Pros:
- Large 4.7in IPS screen
- Decent battery life
- Attractive and functional design
Cons:
- Very reflective display
- Poor quality cameras

LG is clearly in the mood to win back some of the market share it has lost over the past few years. The company has launched a variety of devices across different price segments, one of the which is the Optimus L9, which is aimed at those seeking a reasonably powerful phone that does not cost a...
